About us

We are a Stockholm based organisation working as humble servants for future generations

Our mission

We believe that long perspectives are beautiful. It connects us to our past, grounds us in the present and gives a comforting sense of belonging to the vast unfolding story of humanity.

Our mission is to get as many people as possible to fall in love with longer perspectives and to be a loud voice for future generations who can’t make their voices heard.

Our guiding principles

1

Listen
deeply

Listening is at the core of everything we do. Each project we undertake begins with us listening. Whether it is to young people who can't make their voices heard or to experts who usually aren't given enough time to explain the complexities of a problem.

We give space and we listen deeply.

We speak publicly when we have something thought through and meaningful to say or show.

2

Art before
spreadsheets

We are in the business of trying to influence how people think and act. Facts and spreadsheets are terrible salespeople for this job. They just can't make you care.

We believe in the power of stories, art and experiences. If we can make you feel something deeply. If we can move you. If we can make you cry like a baby. That’s a good start. And only then do we open the door and let the facts and spreadsheets in to continue the sales process.

3

Start local
conversations

We don’t have specific solutions and neither do we claim to have them. Complex long-term challenges are often just that. Complex. We believe the most efficient path to change is a local path forged by those who know the conditions of that particular place. Whether that place is a city, a business or a family.

All we can hope to achieve with our work is that it starts honest and bold local conversations about what can be done to leave this place in a little better condition then we found it in.
